1. How long does it take to get my frames? Can you help me if I need a frame in a hurry?
A. Generally, we target our shipping date 4 weeks from the Friday of the week you ordered your frames. During our very busy seasons, or if you ordered frames that take additional work, it may take a little longer. The shipping date can vary due to the amount of work in our shop, but we will make every effort to meet your important due dates. Please inform us of your upcoming shows or special circumstances at the time you place your order. It does not hurt to call and check on your order two weeks or so before the ship date. If you have a very short deadline, give us a call; we will try as hard as we can to meet your short deadline. It is very important that you tell us when you place your order of any short deadlines you have and it helps if you give us a reminder call a week in advance of the date you need your frame(s).
2. What can I do to prevent the sides of my canvas from showing?
A. We can build your frames with buildups. These are simply extensions to the back of the frames to make them deeper. Currently, we can provide buildups of 1 inch, 1 1/2 inch and 2 inches deep. If you wish even deeper buildups, we can combine 2 or more buildups on frames. Our standard is to leaf the buildups (except on our painted frames). If you wish painted sides on your frames or buildups, this can be done at a small extra cost.
3. What about linen liners?
A. We can provide linen liners. We have 2 standard linens, but at an additional cost, we can do special linens.
4. When do you charge my credit card?
A. Although we take your credit card information when we receive your order, we do not charge credit cards for United States customers until the order is shipped. Because of difficulties in transferring funds from other than U.S. destinations, we will bill credit cards for foreign orders soon after the order is received.
5. What are the various ways I can pay for my frame order?
