It is very difficult to depict our finishes on our web page because every computer and every monitor is different. What we show as our Standard Gold may look like our Dark Gold or our Pale Gold on your monitor. When looking at finishes, please keep this in mind. We will be happy to discuss finishes when you call.

• STANDARD GOLD: Gold color leaf with a blue wash and gray rottenstone rub.
• WARM GOLD: Gold color leaf with a mauve wash and peach rottenstone rub.
• PALE GOLD: Gold color leaf of a lighter tone (close to 16K gold), finished like the Standard Gold.
• OLD GOLD: Aged gold color leaf with burnt umber browning and gray rottenstone.
• ANTIQUE SILVER: Warm silver color leaf that has been aged with a brown wash and gray rottenstone.
• FRENCH SILVER 13: Silver color leaf - simulated 13 K gold look with a mauve wash and gray rottenstone.
• FRENCH SILVER 16: Silver color leaf - simulated 16 K gold look with a mauve wash and gray rottenstone.
• PEWTER: Warm silver color leaf - Dark washed to a pewter look with gray rottenstone.
• BLACK PANEL: Painted black panel on any flat frame surface.
• BLACK OVER RED/ORNAGE/BLUE/GREEN: Black finish over any of these colors, distressed so the under color shows through. It is customary to place a gold colored leaf (or silver color leaf) on the bead of the frame (Raised area closest to the image opening.) The leaf is then distresses and aged.

• SG-22: Simulated 22 karat gold with blue wash
• CRAZING: Very small cracks in black finished frames such as on black panels.
• CRACK FINISH: Finish contains random cracks to appear to have occurred naturally.

Note: In addition to the above finishes, we offer a number of boles, or the finish of the frame directly below the leaf. Our standard bole is red, but we also offer black, green, yellow and blue boles. Because of the naturally occurring leaf crack, the different color boles show through, giving a unique, different character to the final finish.
