"They Look A Hundred Years Old!"

Our motto was first uttered by an artist several
years ago and we strive to live up to it.
At Glaser Frames we are always open to new designs in picture frames.  Virtually all of our profiles have been suggested by our customers.  For example, one customer asked us for a free standing frame so that she could display two images on either side.  The frame in the caption above and as pictured below is the result.  In fact, we have adapted several of our standard profiles to be free standing - two sided frames.  Of course we can finish your frame in any of our finishes. Our tabernacle frames are another example.  Just call us and give us an idea and we will try our hardest to make a custom designed frame for you.  We always love to talk with our artist friends.

Tabernacle Frame.  This frame has a wrap-around base so it can either be hung on the wall or free standing.

We have 4 choices of side ornaments.  Pictured is ornament 438.
Two sided Tabernacle frame.  This free standing frame has a base so your artwork can be displayed on both sides.  Click the image above.  The frame shown uses profile 120 but we can use profiles 711SM, 123 and 124.  Just click our STANDARD FRAME page for more ideas.
Shadow Box. This is an example of some creative work we at Glaser Frames can do.  The Catholic Archdiocese of Denver asked Glaser Frames to create a display for an antique vestment.  We created this shadow box frame that is 40 x 60 inches in size and 5 inches deep.  Plexiglas is used to protect the vestment.  It hangs prominently in the John Paul II Center in Denver.
CArtist, Susan Mustard asked Glaser Frames to design a special frame to display her artwork.  See the sketch to the right of the frame.
"Hi Joann.
I am the "featured artist" for the month of November at the
Artworks Gallery in Olga on Orcas Island, WA.

Titled "Eastsound Laundry". 9 x 12 inches.
Doesn't the frame look wonderful!!! The depth to the wall is perfect. One of
my most favorite collages.

Thanks, thanks, thanks for your interest. We hung the show today and it
looks MARVELOUS."

Triptych.  We can make triptychs and diptychs in virtually any size.  We can even make the middle opening, or for that matter any of the openings wider or narrower as you desire.  Triptych shown above has profile 282 as its cap profile but we can use our other profiles as you wish.  See our STANDARD FRAMES page.
TESTOMONIAL
Diptych.  Our Diptychs, like our Triptychs can use a number of our Standard Frames.  Shown here is profile 282, but profiles 510, 182 and 711SM work well on Diptychs.  See our STANDARD FRAMES page for further ideas on these special frames. wor.
Stacy's 6 x 8 piece is framed in Profile 663 with a 204LG and a build up.
Large frames are standard business at Glaser Frames.  This artwork is an example.  We built a 7 ft square frame (Outside dimensions are 8 ft square).  The painting hangs from a French Cleat.  Click the image for photos of the process.  Thank to Brian Hart of Frame De Art who comissioned the frame and Dan Kamisar of Colorado Art Services who installed the painting..
Here is another picture of one of Coni Belleau Adams's portraits framed with a Glaser Frame being installed.
